A Short But Wonderful Journey

I just wanted to thank everyone for their support over the past few weeks. I have had a ball, an absolute ball. My Dancing With The Stars journey may have been short, but it was an absolutely wonderful experience. I really didn’t want to be the first to leave, in fact I didn’t want to leave at all…….. but someone had to. I have made some really good friends on the show with a great bunch of people and I wish them all the best on their DWTS journey’s. Ryan McShane, you are a wonderful man and I’m so going to miss you.  Right now I’m looking forward to a nice lie in before shooting starts on All Round To Mrs Brown’s next month.

Tango “Eilish style”

Oh my word that was amazing –  I still can’t believe this is happening. Well done to all the ladies tonight #girlpower!

Having a ball!

6th Jan 2019 Tripping the light fantastic on Sunday night’s Dancing With The Stars.

Isn’t he just gorgeous?

Here I am with Ryan, who is the most fabulous and patient dance teacher I could have – I’ve learnt so much already thanks to this gorgeous man!

Here We Go!

Well today’s the day! Dancing With The Stars here I come, you can follow my sequin filled journey on RTE One, I will do my best to keep you informed also by my fan page on Facebook, Instagram etc. Ok let’s get ready to Rumba……well Tango actually!

Dancing With The Stars

O.M.G,  I believe the term is! I cannot begin to tell you how excited and utterly delighted I am to be doing Dancing With The Stars.  I have always loved dancing, and now I hope I’ll get to learn how to do it properly! As for the sparkle and sequins – don’t get me started, I just love this dress. I hope you’ll all tune in to see me trip the light fantastic, I honestly can’t wait.

LGBT Campaign

I’m so happy to add my voice to this campaign, those of you who know me will appreciate that technology and myself are not usually a good mix, but even I can get my head around this! It really is a solution to much needed support for people who may for many years have felt isolated and without a voice.

Live Love Laugh goes to Hospital!

I am so happy to announce that I will be bringing my show to Limerick in September!

Tickets are available at Donie’s post Office, the show will be at The Community Hall, Hospital, 8pm start. I’m really looking forward to this and hope to meet as many of you as possible after the show.

Cork Pride 2018

What an amazing honour to be Grand Marshall at the 2018 Cork Pride celebrations and what a fabulous day it has been. The LGBT community turned out in their thousands to celebrate the event with walks, music, speeches, support, lots of fun and most certainly PRIDE.

Supporting The Cause!

I gave my support to the “Together For Yes” campaign this weekend when they launched “She Lives On Your Street”

I do not have the right to tell any woman what to do with her body and this is just one reason I support the Repeal The 8th movement.

Back at The BBC!

We’re back!   We’re all back here at Pacific Quay recording All Round To Mrs Brown’s and being looked after by the lovely BBC Scotland staff.

Back Home….And Back to Work !

Well, I’m home – what a wonderful experience touring Australia & New Zealand, every time we go it’s just fabulous. Amazing scenery and thousands of lovely people – thank you to all of you who came out to see us, and waited patiently for signings and photos after the shows.

I landed back on the 12th March and walked around like a zombie for a few days – but I had to get my head in gear quickly as I had an appearance on RTE’s Afternoon show on the Thursday. Thoroughly enjoyed myself there as usual. This week I was on TV3’s 6 O’Clock show and even did some Irish dancing!
